The ICR trains doctors specialised in ophthalmology since 2001. The residents carry out several rotations, and integrate themselves in the working dynamics of the different departments:

First year: general ophthalmology, optics and refraction and basic surgical techniques.

Second year: glaucoma and cornea. Anterior segment intraocular surgery.

Third year: Medical and surgical retina. Posterior segment intraocular and extra ocular surgery.

Fourth year: paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and lachrymal, orbital and palpebral surgery.

The evaluation of the medical and surgical practice acquisition depends on the survey (link to the evaluation survey) that complete the specialists who, train the residents directly.
