Surgery

The majority of our patients that need surgical treatment are operated on an outpatient basis at the Bonanova Clinic of Ocular surgery. The clinic has 5 operating rooms: 4 to perform all types of surgery (cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment, vitrectomy, keratoplasty, dacryocystorhinostomy and pediatric surgery) and 1 to perform exclusively refractive surgery.

Other surgical centres where ICR performs surgery and hospital admissions are: Hospital de Barcelona, Clínica Olivé Gumà and Clínica Ntra Sra. del Remei.

Tests and treatments

Ophthalmology’s speciality has evolved very quickly in recent years. New techniques and equipment have been developed and introduced to offer the best diagnosis or treatment for patients.

Bonanova Clinic has the necessary equipment to diagnose or treat all ophthalmic pathologies with the maximum effectiveness. It also has a specific area of complementary tests formed by highly qualified personnel.
