Dr. Núria Ibáñez, head of the ICR Orbit and Oculoplastics Department, is participating today, June 17th, as a speaker in the third session of the Webinar ” Emergencies in Ophthalmology for residents”. The course, which will be held online, is part of a group of sessions dedicated to ophthalmological emergencies and aimed at doctors in Ophthalmology. Dr. Ibañez will be the specialist in charge of the session dedicated to Oculoplastics.
During her session, Dr. Ibañez will talk about the most important and serious oculoplastic emergencies, such as patients with exophthalmos, both acute and subacute, or patients with orbital fractures or contusions. It will also be an interactive session, so it is expected not only to teach but also to clarify questions that residents may have in relation to oculoplastic emergencies. Thus, at the end of the session, Dr. Ibañez will answer questions and clear up any doubts the attendees may have about any type of oculoplastic emergency. The event will also count with the collaboration of Dr. Érika Becerra , member of the ICR Oculoplastic Department, who will act as moderator.
