Dr. Ignasi Jürgens, Medical Director and Head of Retina and Vitreous Department at Institut Català de Retina, will take part on February 17th in the 10th Spanish Symposium on Controversies in Ophthalmology, that will be co-chaired by Dr. Jordi Arruga.
In its 10th edition, that will be held in the conference hall at Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge, ophthalmology professionals of all over Spain will meet in order to discuss innovative subjects regarding the medical and surgical diagnosis of eye diseases.
Round tables at the Symposium on Controversies in Ophthalmology
Throughout de morning, three round tables will take place. The first of them will address the controversies in medical retina and the available medical treatments for several retinal diseases. The second round table will focus on ocular oncology, an ophthalmology sub-specialty whose aim is to diagnose and treat eye tumors mainly affecting the eyeball and its annexes. The third and last round table will feature Dr. Ignasi Jürgens as a speaker, and will approach the controversies in surgical retina and the different types of retinal surgery.
