The 25th Conference of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Ophthalmolgy and Strabismus (SEEOP) was held from the 20th-22nd of April at the City of Leon Auditorium. Among those taking part in the event were ophthalmologists from the ICR’s Neuro-ophthalmology and Paediatric Ophthalmology Departments.
During the oral presentations section of the event, two presentations on neuro-ophthalmology were given; Miastenia gravis in a neuro-ophthalmology unit. Our experience, by Doctors Gomez, Berrozpe and Castillo, and Discovered following a paresis of craneal nerve VI, in which Dr Rodriguez also took part.
As for video and poster presentations, the ICR specialists showed a video titled Unilateral Accomodative Spasm and gave a poster presentation on the diagnosis of cartoid-cavernous fistulas.
The doctors also presented a case report on keratoconjunctivitis.
Finally, doctors Soldevila, Rodriguez, Lorca and Espinosa-Saldaña presented a study on the rate of diplopia (double vision) at our centre following refractive and cataract surgery.
