Dr. Núria Ibáñez will participate as a speaker at the conference “Blefaroplastia. The state of the art.”

Dr. Núria Ibáñez, head of the Oculoplasty Department of the Institut Català de Retina, will participate as a speaker at the conference “Blefaroplastia. The state of the art.”, which will be held on 15 February at the Casa Fuster Hotel in Barcelona.

This advanced level meeting will be attended by specialists of great prestige, who will present the latest trends in blepharoplasty. Dr. Ibáñez will give the presentation “Ocular surface in blepharoplasty” at 9:15 a.m. Later, at 4:15 p.m. she will participate in the round table “Clinical cases of blepharoplasty” together with other specialists.

Surgical treatments for improved appearance of the periocular area are at a time of great evolution and blepharoplasty is the main technique in this field. This surgery allows to operate the eyelids to remove and correct the bags of fat under the eyes or the excess of skin, thus treating the imperfections of aging in the look and eliminating the appearance of drooping eyes.
