Dr. Xavier Graell presents his doctoral thesis at UAB University

On 15th December, Dr. Xavier Graell, ophthalmologist at ICR Department of Orbit and Oculoplasty, presented his doctoral thesis “Study of the lacrimal duct after cataract surgery” at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The thesis was supervised by Dr Núria Ibáñez, Head of ICR Department of Orbit and Oculoplasty,

The examining board highlighted the relevance of presenting a thesis on oculoplasty, since it is a specialty which is rarely explored. Moreover, Dr. Graell was congratulated for presenting a prospective study adhering to the scientific approach.
