Dr. José Manuel Navero, member of the ICR Glaucoma Department, participated as a speaker in the latest edition of the Symposium on Ophtalmological Controversies, that was held on February 21st at the Bellvitge University Hospital.
The event, which is held annually, was attended by several experts in different Ophthalmological areas. These specialists discussed in different roundtables topics such as the use of IA in clinical practice, the controversies in lacrimal pathology or the different surgical techniques used in glaucoma. Also, two another conferences were held, one on the bearability of Glaucoma treatment and another on the benefits of using an eye lubricant for all types of dry eye.

Dr. José Manuel Navero participated as an expert in the roundtable “Clinical cases of glaucoma surgery. Which technique to choose?”, in which he shared his knowledge and experience. In this practical session, several specialists in glaucoma discussed different surgical clinical cases and the best technique to treat them. Thus, attendees presented complex cases or cases with difficulties before and after the surgery and the specialists discussed which was the best option to solve them and handle the difficulties.
